Who is attracted to VO?

Have you ever noticed that airline pilots and air traffic controllers, among others who are constantly talking in front of groups, on a microphone or in front of an audience (like lawyers, teachers, stock brokers, doctors etc.) are veering to voiceover as a retirement occupation or second career? Over the past decade I've had dozens in these categories as students and they all had one thing in common - each had been told constantly he or she had a great voice.
